On Saturday, I bought a fantastic cyclops mask and some hideous fake teeth to wear out barhopping. My original plan was to then wear the mask into work today to scare the kids. Unfortunately, I forgot the mask in a cab on Saturday night. Therefore, I had to improvise a new costume for today. Good thing I still had those fake glasses from last year’s costume.

Question by : How to get my Halloween costume hat to stay on?
I bought one of those generic sailor girl costumes at the Halloween store. It came with a hat that’s too small to stay on by itself, and therefore needs some other sort of support to stay on my head. The hat has two little hooks on the inside of it, but came with no elastic string, etc, etc. I’ve tried bobby pinning it but that doesn’t work either. So, any other ideas? Help is greatly appreciated.
