Werewolf Transformation and Scary Clowns have many similar characteristics when it comes to fear from the unknown. The fear is rooted deeply in the human kind history, however the object of the fear for example werewolves or clowns might vary from time to time and from culture to culture.

The scary clowns images are mainly adopted from the popular culture which we all absorb through the media. The werewolf is often represented as a species that we can not trust, a pure evil and a creature that is hiding something from the rest us. However the thing we are afraid the most is the fact that it might be true. From the one hand we have an ordinary person that looks and acts like us, but on the other hand he can transform to an animal like a wolf. This werewolf transformation is very confusing for us because it breaks the order and the logic of our world. We are use to separate our self from different things. We have the skies, the ground, people, animal kingdom, nature and etc. Each item or being on earth is different from the other and play a different role play on earth. But when the two worlds are collide it makes as confuse. What if our world is not what we think it is?

The same thing goes with scary clowns – people like you and me that are hiding behind funny clothing and shinny makeup. But when we try to get a closer look we also get confuse. First they looks like cartoons from TV show, then we can not see their face mimes – if they are happy, sad or even want to hurt us and the last thing, again we can not really know what are they. They act funny like kids but they are adults and their gender is not always clear to us. And the worse of all is that they can do whatever they like without being punished, only because the society thinks that they are funny.

Nevertheless we should not blame scary clowns and werewolf transformation for our fears. They are not intend to hurt us it is just an image that represent our deepest fears.

Scary Clowns And Coulrophobia

Kids say they like clowns, but they don’t know why, they just do, because they are told they do. Fear of scary clowns (also known as Coulrophobia) is more of a hindsight thing, and may be more about the associations people have with Scary Clowns, than the clowns themselves. This would vary, but might be something like being pressured to like someone whose face is hidden behind makeup. Or maybe the constant fear of being pulled out of the crowd and embarrassed.

I suppose that clowns are humorous to most people. But when they look like scary guys with pounds of theatrical makeup pasted on, jumping out from behind trees and where ever else they think it is cute to hide, and you are not even in grammar school. Yet that can actually cause a lifetime of coulrophobia, panic attacks and bad feelings. Clowns can be very scary to the young minds. Can you imagine something like that picking up a kid for the first time in their life and shaking them thinking they are funny? Having to get your picture taken with one and he is laughing while you are on his lap, all this just because someone thinks it is cute? It is really scary situation when you take the time to think about it.

Basically there are three main reasons for the scary clowns’ phobia (Coulrophobia): fear from something that looks not normal to us, fear that a person might hide from us his thoughts and deeds. And finally a scary clown can do everything he or she wants and get away with it, because after all it is all just a harmless show, but is it? It is estimate that one of seven people have fear of clowns so the cultural phenomena that should have make people happy, done only the opposite – a living nightmare.
